WHITE CHOCOLATE COCONUT MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES
As the weather turns cold, I turn from grilling outdoors, making simple meals and light cooking. I crank up the oven, pull up my sleeves and get my baking mojo on. One of my favorite things to do is bake cookies. Each year it’s a new challenge to come up with that special cookie everyone will enjoy. As I was flipping through my cookbooks and searching the web I came across the Betty Crocker White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie; the perfect cookie to riff off of.
I received free products for writing this post. As always the opinions are entirely my own.
HOW TO MAKE A GREAT COOKIE AMAZING
- Quality ingredients: Use the best ingredients you can afford
- Don’t be afraid to add a few extras: Coconut, White Chocolate, Macadamia Nuts, etc…
- Make them pretty: Go the extra mile and package the cookies up prettily. It’s a great way to say you care.
For National Cookie Month I was given the cutest cookie tray packaging from Wilton. While known for their great bake ware, I was excited to see all the beautiful packaging for every type of occasion. The cookie tray kit is perfect for gift giving. The trays are pretty and come with cellophane wrapping, ribbon and adorable tags. Well worth the price and I don’t have to worry about trying to get my plate back. I love it.

Thanks Wendy. The white whole wheat flour and muscovado sugar makes them hearty and delicious with the perfect balance between crisp and cakey.
Shari, I really have been doing so good at not eating very many sweets (bloggers bottom has hit with full force), but this would be worth the splurge! Hope all is well. Carrie, A Mother’s Shadow
I can relate to that Carrie. Being back in the OR is a constant reminder of what blogging for the last year has done to my stamina. In the next several weeks I’m hoping to shed a bit of my bloggers bottom!
