Summertime BBQ Side Dish Roundup

June 28, 2014 by Shari Eckstrom 26 Comments

Are you looking for a Summertime BBQ side dish to serve with your burgers, dogs, steak and chicken? Then stop right here, because I have you covered!  Today I am serving up some foodie-licious summertime BBQ side dishes that are perfect for the dog days ahead. Each of these great BBQ dishes will keep your house cool, your family and guests happy, and leave you with plenty of time to enjoy the BBQ.

Thanks to all my blogging friends and their wonderful recipes. Now on to the  Summertime BBQ Side Dish Roundup!

Summertime BBQ Side Dish Roundup: Summer Potatoes

Summer Grilled Potato Vegetable Medley From Pure Grace Farms. Shari says…” bursting with color and fresh tasting flavor. These simple potatoes can be put together in less than 10 minutes. Grilled alongside your favorite entree, no muss, no fuss; leaving you plenty of time to spend with family and friends.” My kind of dish.

Summertime BBQ Side Dish Roundup: Couscous Salad with Grilled Pineapple and Grapefruit

Couscous Salad with Grilled Pineapple and Grapefruit comes from With a Blast. Here is what Linda has to say about this great tasting salad, “I love cooking with Couscous as it is so quick to prepare. Throw in some delicious salad goodies and you get this refreshing Couscous Salad with grilled Pineapple and Grapefruit which is bursting with flavor.” Sounds just right to me!

Summertime BBQ Side Dish Roundup: Chili-lime Corn on the Cob

Chili-Lime Corn on the Cob comes from Simply Suzanne’s At Home. Suzanne say’s, “I love treating my friends and family to grilled corn that’s dolled up with an incredible creamy chili lime sauce that’s a little sweet, spicy, and tart . . . and oh so good!!  Grilled Corn is a great summer side dish.”

Summertime BBQ Side Dish Roundup: Grilled Asparagus

Grilled Asparagus with Olive Oil and Lemon Zest comes from Pure Grace Farms. Here’s what Shari has to say, “Grilling asparagus is quick and easy, takes little to no time to prepare and the results are outstanding.”  I think we have a winner here!

Summertime BBQ Side Dish Roundup: Grilled Brie Stuffed Figs with Honey

Grilled Brie Stuffed Figs with Honey comes from Fearless Dining- Gluten Free. Here is what Sandi has to say, “Grilled figs are delicious and I can easily see grilling figs in my future. The flavors really work well together.” and “These figs would be a perfect appetizer if you need a fancy dish for a party.”  I heartily concur!

No BBQ would be complete without drinks and dessert so if you need a few “Foodie-Licious” ideas I am happy to supply!

I have been making BBQ snap peas this morning, oh my! Good thing I took pictures early, because they were so addicting I sat and ate almost all of them. I would have polished them off, but hubby knows I’m making them so I have to share 🙂
